These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the OzCal mobile app. By creating an account or using OzCal, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
You must be at least 16 years old to use OzCal. By using the app you confirm that you meet this requirement.
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. Please provide accurate information so your nutrition targets are meaningful.
OzCal is a nutrition tracking tool, not a medical device or a source of medical advice. Calorie and macronutrient targets are general estimates calculated from the details you provide and established formulas. They are not a substitute for advice from a qualified doctor, dietitian or health professional. Always consult a professional before making significant changes to your diet, exercise or health routine, particularly if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have a medical condition. Use OzCal at your own discretion.
Estimates, not measurements. Meal, energy and nutrient figures shown in OzCal are estimates produced by an AI model and public food databases. They are for general wellness information only, are not medical advice, and can be wrong. If you have a medical condition or manage your diet on medical advice, confirm the figures with a qualified professional before relying on them.
OzCal is free to use, including unlimited barcode scanning and three AI photo or voice logs a day. OzCal Pro is an auto-renewing subscription: A$14.99 per month or A$89.99 per year, in Australian dollars including GST. The yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers; if you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the yearly price is charged and the subscription begins.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically at the same price for the same period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in iPhone Settings, your name, Subscriptions, OzCal. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, not by us. Prices may change in future; we will tell you before a change affects you, and a price rise never applies to a period you have already paid for. Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

OzCal, including its name, design and software, is owned by the operator of OzCal, ABN 55 386 617 220. You retain ownership of the data you enter. By using the app you grant us the limited rights needed to store and display your data to you and operate the service.
OzCal is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator of OzCal (ABN 55 386 617 220) is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
You may stop using OzCal and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Australian courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
